Zurich Instruments launches LabOneQ, a software framework for controlling Zurich Instruments hardware
Zurich Instruments’ LabOneQ software enables users to design and visualize complex quantum experiments with a Python-based programming environment. The software makes it easier and faster for an end user to generate and download waveforms, synchronize pulses between multiple instruments, visualize results, verify experimental sequences and pulses before running, and track results and calibration data. It can handle anything from a single qubit to 100 qubits or more. The software works to enable high duty cycles by minimizing communication overhead, optimizing control instructions, pipelining, queuing of experiments, and using automation. Additional information about LabOneQ can be seen in a web page for the product located here, a software user manual which can be found here. and a video here.
